The Annapurna Base Camp Trek is one of Nepal’s most popular and scenic treks, leading adventurers into the heart of the Annapurna mountain range. 🗓️ Annapurna Base Camp Trek Itinerary (10 Days)
Day 1: Arrival in Pokhara (820 m)
- Arrive in Pokhara by flight or road
- Prepare for the trek, check gear and permits
- Overnight in Pokhara
Day 2: Pokhara to Nayapul (1,070 m), Trek to Tikhedhunga (1,540 m)
- Drive approx. 1.5 hours to Nayapul
- Begin trek through villages and forest trails
- Overnight in Tikhedhunga
Day 3: Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani (2,860 m)
- Steep climb via Ulleri steps
- Scenic trek through rhododendron and oak forests
- Overnight in Ghorepani
Day 4: Early Morning Hike to Poon Hill (3,210 m), Trek to Tadapani (2,630 m)
- Sunrise hike to Poon Hill for panoramic Himalayan views
- Trek downhill to Tadapani through forests
- Overnight in Tadapani
Day 5: Tadapani to Chhomrong (2,170 m)
- Descend to Kimrong Khola, then ascend to Chhomrong village
- Experience Gurung culture and traditional hospitality
- Overnight in Chhomrong
Day 6: Chhomrong to Dovan (2,600 m)
- Trek through bamboo and rhododendron forests
- Cross suspension bridges over Modi Khola
- Overnight in Dovan
Day 7: Dovan to Deurali (3,230 m)
- Continue ascending through alpine terrain
- Overnight in Deurali
Day 8: Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130 m) via Machhapuchhre Base Camp (3,700 m)
- Trek to Machhapuchhre Base Camp (optional detour)
- Continue to Annapurna Base Camp surrounded by snow-capped peaks
- Overnight at Annapurna Base Camp
Day 9: Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo (2,310 m)
- Begin descent through rhododendron forests
- Overnight in Bamboo
Day 10: Bamboo to Nayapul, Drive back to Pokhara
- Trek downhill to Nayapul
- Drive to Pokhara
- Trek ends
